Through engaging and hands-on educational opportunities, Huntersville Institute of Cosmetic Arts cultivates future industry professionals. We know most people hear the words, cosmetic, esthetician, spa, salon etc. and may think it is a simple industry to work in. We know it is not. We value those who have a passion for the industry who are eager to begin training for their employment goal and have recognized the need for quality education. The demand in the cosmetic art world has been steady and continues to expand with social media, social influencers, celebrities, and the everyday need to look good and feel great about yourself.

In the cosmetic art world, you need to have the skills and education to work with a diverse network. Our goal is to assist students to learn the theory and train for the skills needed to become professionally licensed. Cosmetic arts consist of layers of education. Biology, chemistry, electricity, product knowledge, skin types, diseases and disorders, medical appliances, and the list goes on. Those licensed in the cosmetic arts had to go through a lot to get to where they are, and they truly want to be there.
